Bergenfield Sprinter Hayley Virone Breaks School Record

BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Hayley Virone, a Bergenfield High School junior, broke the 200-meter dash school record at the Big North League Championships on Feb. 2.

Virone’s time was a 27.80, breaking the record set in 1979 by Michelle Mark. Mark’s time was 28.5, a record she held for 37 years.
