BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Bergenfield High School named Isabel De Leon and Andres Reynoso as the athletes of the month for March.
De Leon, a senior, has been a varsity player on the girls basketball team for two years, the volleyball team for two years, and the softball team for three years. When she is not guarding for basketball, pitching for softball, or setting for volleyball, Isabel volunteers at Englewood Hospital Medical Center and plans to study nursing in college.
Reynoso, also a senior, has been a member of the varsity baseball team for three years and will be the captain for the upcoming season. Andres has additionally been a part of the winter track team for the past two years. He is a four-year honor roll scholar and is a member of the Spanish Honor Society.
