NEW MILFORD, N.J. -- The New Mildford High School Concert Band won two awards at the Music Showcase Competition at Hershey Park on May 14. The band received a Superior rating and First Place in their division. A trophy is displayed in the main office.
Max Piasevoli also received a solo award for his alto saxophone performance.
In other band news, Angie Bellanich, Tara Levine, and Patrick Westervelt performed with the Ridgewood Concert Band May 13. They performed three pieces in the Side by Side performance along with 40 other North Jersey high school musicians.
