Bergenfield Third Grader Achieves National Honor Roll In Math Contest

BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Hoover School third grader Harlon Sprague achieved National Honor Roll in the 2015 Noetic Learning Math Contest recently.

The Noetic Learning Math Contest is a national mathematics contest for elementary and middle school students. The goal of the competition is to encourage students’ interest in math, to develop their problem solving skills, and to inspire them to excel in math. 

This title is awarded to the top 10 percent of participating students across the country. 

In addition to Sprague's accomplishment, 20 students received National Honorable Mention.

Honorees include: Shamrudha Balamurugan, Lanz Sandoval, Nicolas Cardona, Puhalenthi Ramesh Vidhya, Kevin Cabuyao, Monisha Khatri, Haley Hernandez, Trianha Puente, Jeremiah Magnaye, Michael De Rosa Jr., Nitya Malhotra, Eryn Argonza, Megan Santos, Amaya Baez, Stefan John, and Frederick Vasquez.
