BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- The Bergenfield Quiz Bowl Team placed third at the Northern New Jersey Academic Competition at Leonia High School on Dec. 12.
In the 50 team field, the bronze recognition marks the school's first trophy ever.
The team, captained by Kay James and Dean Connors and advised by Mr. Baldwin, hopes to run a tournament on campus this school year.
