Bergenfield Students Collect 'Pennies For Patients'

BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Students at Franklin School in Bergenfield participated in "Random Acts of Kindness Week" in February.

Students were encouraged to think about and demonstrate ways in which they can display kindness towards others.

In addition to various classroom activities and lessons, students also participated in the “Pennies for Patients” program and collected spare change to support individuals battling leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.
