Bergenfield Student's Artwork Chosen For Fall Exhibit

BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Hoover Elementary School student Nitya Malhotra's artwork was selected for the prestigious New Jersey Performing Arts Center/Art Educators of New Jersey Fall Exhibit.

Malhotra's work is one of only 18 pieces selected from across the state in a contest that saw student participation ranging from elementary to high school.

Her beautiful reworked rendering of her original entry in the Endangered Species Youth Art Contest illustrates her perseverance, determination and hard work, according to a release from the Bergenfield Public School District.

Malhotra will be presented with an award at the NJPAC Award Ceremony in September.
