BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- A 43-year-old Westchester motorist received a failure-to-yield summons after her truck struck an Englewood woman crossing a Bergenfield street, authorities said.
The Katonah woman's 2007 Chevy Silverado was turning left from Bergen Avenue when it hit the 39-year-old victim as she headed east across South Washington Avenue in the crosswalk just before 5:30 p.m. Monday, Detective Sgt. William Duran told Daily Voice.
The victim was taken to Englewood Hospital and Medical Center with a hip injury that wasn't considered life-threatening, Duran said. She also complained of upper leg pain.
