BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Bergenfield police Tuesday night identified a Filipino woman who, it turns out, lives in town.
Yolanda Ranin, 78, wasn't carrying identification and couldn't provide much information through a translator when authorities first found her, Police Chief Cathy Madalone said earlier.
After issuing an alert through local and social media, an identification was made.
"Her family is with her now," Detective David Tortora said just after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
