Tri-Community Crime-Stoppers offers reward in Bergenfield luring of girl, 13

PUBLIC SAFETY: Tri-Community Crime-Stoppers is offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest of a man who a 13-year-old Bergenfield girl said followed her yesterday and asked if she wanted a ride.

HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MAN? Bergenfield police have released a sketch of a man who a 13-year-old borough girl said followed her on Wednesday, asking whether she wanted a ride.

* * * * * *

She told police she was walking along South Summit and South Taylor streets when the white driver — with orange hair and mustache, between 30-35 years old — pulled up in a black, four-door SUV between 5:30-6 p.m.

He then circled around onto South Woodside Avenue, the girl said.
