Moses Ventura, 30, was ordered held without bail in the Bergen County Jail following a detention hearing Saturday before a judge in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, records show.
He was charged with aggravated sexual assault, assault by sexual contact and child endangerment.
Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said Dumont police and detectives from his office arrested Ventura after interviewing a 17-year-old girl about sexual abuse that she said occurred before she’d turned 13.
