“Bergen County Police did a K-9 search of the wooded area near her residence,” New Milford Police Chief Frank Papapietro said this morning. “There’s been no cell phone or bank activity.” Besides the phone, she left behind her wallet and keys, he said.
The green-eyed, blond-haired Klee lived alone and was “known to feed stray animals, such as cats and birds,” the chief said. “She has also been known to look into [D]umpsters for unknown reasons.”
She was reported last seen near Main Street and Prospect Ave in New Milford.
Although she has a car, it was found at her home. There’s a chance, however, that she could be driving another vehicle — a two-door, white 2000 Chevy Cavalier.
