Lt. Brian Clancy, Detective Scott Petrie and Officers Adam Conboy and Vincent Siekierski responded to the 6 p.m. call and found "numerous Oxycodone and Xanax pills surrounding the [unconscious] patient," Detective Kevin Van Saders said Tuesday.

They "immediately administered a Narcan dose and conducted rescue breathing on the patient," he said.

"A second dose of Narcan was administered after the patient showed little reaction to the first" and that "caused a slight response from the patient," Van Saders said.

By the time he was put into an ambulance to be taken to Holy Name Medical Center, "he was alert and recovering," the detective said.
