NEW MILFORD, N.J. – A 19-year-old college student from New Milford was charged with sexually assaulting a 17-year-old victim, beginning when the juvenile was 15 years old.
Michael Urgiles remained held Wednesday in the Bergen County Jail on charges of aggravated sexual assault, criminal sexual contact and child endangerment.
A tip that Urgiles had “inappropriate sexual contact” with the juvenile prompted an investigation that led to his arrest last Thursday, Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.
A judge released Urgiles the next day.
He was re-arrested Tuesday on upgraded charges.
