BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- A Dumont physician accused of touching the private parts of current and former employees — one of whom he bit on the cheek — victimized three more female patients at his Bergenfield office, authorities charged today.

Raja K. Jagtiani, a 54-year-old internist, was released after posting $50,000 bail on the new charges at Bergenfield police headquarters, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said.

Jagtiani, who is married, had been free on $20,000 bail after authorities charged him less than a month ago on criminal sexual contact charges.

Members of the prosecutor's Special Victims Unit continued investigating after three new victims came forward to them and Bergenfield police, leading to four additional charges of criminal sexual contact and one of "harassment by offensive touching," Molinelli said.An Oct. 7 Municipal Court arraignment was scheduled.
