Randolph Smith left his home with "an unknown person" around 8:30 p.m. Dec. 25, Capt. Mustafa Rabboh said. His wife reported him missing on Jan. 2, he said.

Smith was described as black, of Jamaican decent, about 5-foot-7 and 205 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing black pants, a black puffy jacket and black shoes, Rabboh said.

Smith also commonly has a goatee, wears a gold rope chain and bracelet and has his name tattoed on his right bicep, the captain said.

He didn't have a car and doesn't have any notable medical conditions, Rabboh said.

Anyone who sees Smith or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Bergenfield Police Department at (201) 387-4000 or the Detective Bureau at (201) 387-4000 x4011.
