Dumont man charged with fondling 14-year-old boy

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Detectives arrested a Dumont man accused of fondling a 14-year-old boy several times at his home. Douglas Matthews, 47, “engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct” with the teen in his Washington Avenue apartment, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said.

Matthews, who is single and unemployed, is being held on $50,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with sexual assault and child endangerment.
