Driver in Dumont rollover taken into custody

ANOTHER CLIFFVIEW PILOT SCOOP: Dumont police took the driver of a car that landed on its roof in a one-vehicle accident to headquarters early this morning.

The driver of the compact red vehicle climbed out after it overturned and came to rest on the front lawn of 133 Bedford Avenue around 1:20 a.m., emergency workers at the scene told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

He apparently sustained no serious injuries and was taken to headquarters in police custody, they said.
