BERGENFIELD, NJ — A number of residential roads will remain closed during the day in Bergenfield and surrounding towns this week while PSE&G continues to repair gas lines.
Officials say they are continuing work that began in the summer by updating equipment to meet the demands of more residents moving into the area.
Crews closed Thames Boulevard at Regent Street, Highgate Terrace at Westminster Gates, and Thames Boulevard at New Bridge Road and Westminster Avenue, and will continue working in residential neighborhoods for the next several weeks.
Residents are permitted access, but roads in will be closed to traffic from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. as crews dig through roadways in the area.
