The woman told police she was walking west on the south side of the road across from Memorial Park after getting off the bus around 7:45 p.m. last Friday when she saw a small sedan pass her and then pull over, Detective Capt. Cathy Madalone said.

Two men got out, leaving the driver inside, the woman said.

One crossed the street, walked past her, then turned around and hit her in the head, she told police.

She said she fell into the roadway and he ran into Memorial Park along with the second man as the car took off.

The woman described her alleged assailant as Hispanic, 18-22 years old, about 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, wearing a red t-shirt, khaki shorts and white and black sneakers (SEE composite sketch, above, by Detective Kevin Doheny).

The second man was described also as Hispanic male, 18-24, thin, with a ponytail and wearing a green jersey, with the #9 on back.

She described the driver as also Hispanic and thin, wearing dark clothing.

The car was light-colored, possibly a Toyota or Honda.
