Jay Arvin Macalino was being held on $75,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with two aggravated assault charges and four illegal weapons counts -- for having a ball peen hammer and a socket wrench -- after being arrested Friday.

Officers found several victims and others after being called to a large street fight following a party in the area of East Clinton and Haven avenues, Capt. Mustafa Rabboh said.

Dumont, New Milford, Oradell and Tenafly police assisted, he said.

"Due to conflicting reports and injuries to several victims, the investigation continued until [this past Friday]" when the 5-foot-6-inch, 140-pound Macalino was taken into custody, the captain said.
