NEW MILFORD, N.J. -- A raid on a New Milford home produced up pot, scales and an imitation handgun, along with the arrests of the tenant and an associate from Westwood who authorities said were selling drugs in Bergen County.
Gerlando Lamanaca, 18, and Jordan Covo, who turned 19 on Monday, were being held on $35,000 bail each in the Bergen County Jail.
Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said members of his Narcotic Task Force -- joined by a Bergen County Sheriff's K-9 Unit and New Milford police -- arrested the pair after executing a search warrant at the Concors Place home.
Both were "involved in the distribution of various controlled dangerous substances in Bergen County," the prosecutor said.
Along with pot, scale and plastic baggies, investigators seized an imitation HK45 handgun, he said.
Both men were charged with various drug offenses.
