DUMONT, N.J. – An undercover heroin deal in Dumont led to the arrest of an Oak Ridge man, authorities said.
Detectives who got a tip in April that Steven Dahmer, 29, was dealing in Dumont set up the sting, Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.
They then took Dahmer into custody without incident at his home on Wednesday, the prosecutor said.
Dahmer was released pending Dec. 20 first appearance on drug charges in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
Grewal thanked Dumont police for their role in the investigation and arrest.
