DUMONT, N.J. -- William J. Barrett, 87, of Dumont, died Sept. 8. He was 87.
He was born Nov. 24, 1928.
He was in corporate insurance for MetLife Insurance Company. A veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of the Gooney Bird Detachment of the Marine Corps. League in New Milford.
He is survived by his children, Edward and William; and grandchildren, Krystina, Edward Jr., Cordell, and Duvessa.
He was predeceased by his wife, H. Elaine.
Visiting will be from 7-9 p.m Sunday at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Ave., Bergenfield. All will meet at noon Monday at South Presbyterian Church Cemetery 150 W. Church St., Bergenfield for a graveside service.
