DUMONT, N.J. -- Vincent L. Garofalo, a resident of Dumont, died Saturday, Jan. 2. He was 84.
Garofalo was employed as a senior dispatcher for the New York City Transit Authority for 35 years, retiring in 1991.
He is survived by his son Robert Garofalo and Carol Lipko and grandchildren Staci and Justin Cohen; Jessica and Christopher Garofalo; Hilda Stundon and son-in-law Jeff Cohen.
He was predeceased by his wife, Ruby (nee Triestman) and daughter Joyce Cohen.
