Born in Sicily, Baudone immigrated to the United States in 1966, settling in North Bergen. He later moved to Ridgefield, where he owned and operated his construction business for many years, before moving to Dumont in 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Francesca (Mogavero) Baudone; children Giuseppe Baudone and his wife Maria, Salvatore Baudone, Rosario Baudone and his wife Kristi, and Antoniette Hroncich and her husband John; grandchildren Mattea, John Paul, Paulie, Marcella, Casey, Paolo and Dante; great-grandson Matteo; sisters Rosario Baudone and Vincenza D'Anna; and many loving nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Italy.
Baudone was predeceased by his parents, Antonia (Vaccaro) and Giuseppe Baudone.
Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, March 11, at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, at the funeral home, with a mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, in Dumont. Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum.
