NEW MILFORD, N.J. -- Michael John Walsh, a lifelong resident of New Milford, died Tuesday, March 29. He was 21.
He attended Penn State University, making the dean’s list for his last four semesters. While a student, he was preparing to receive his degree in agriculture business management. He had just accepted an offer to start a job with Cal-Maine in Ohio, where his could achieve his goal to help feed the world.
He is survived by his parents John G. and Nancy Walsh; his sister Caitlin; grandmothers Mary Domine and Anita Walsh; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandfather John J. Walsh.
A funeral service to celebrate his life will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's RC Church, New Milford/Oradell; please meet at the church Monday morning. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from noon to 3 and 6-9 p.m. Sunday.
