DUMONT, N.J. -- Margaret R. Sullivan, of Dumont, died Wednesday, Aug. 10. She was 93.
She was born Nov. 4, 1922, in the Bronx. She was a graduate of Hunter College in Manhattan and was employed as a dietician at Met Life Insurance Co.
Sullivan also was a substitute teacher at Honiss School in Dumont for 22 years and a Catechism teacher at St. Mary’s R.C. Church in Dumont.
She is survived by her children, Timothy and his wife Wendy, Robert and his wife Evelyn, John and his wife Sandy and William and his wife Melissa; grandchildren Casey, Tim, Derek, Katerina, Michael, Kyle, Shannon and Jessica; and sister-in-law, Helen Sullivan.
She was predeceased by her husband Timothy (2001).
A Catholic Blessing will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont. Interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Middle Village, N.Y. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
