BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Margaret "Peggy" Gillies, 90, of Bergenfield, died Oct. 13.
She was born July 26, 1926.
She was a longtime parishioner of Church of the Good Shepherd in Bergenfield.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Gillies.
She is survived by her children, Richard Gillies and wife Diane, Daniel Gillies and wife Susan, Kenneth Gillies and wife Janet, Janet Gillies, Terry McIndoe and husband Michael, Robert A. Gillies and Margaret Jane Albert and husband James; 29 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Janet Steele and Betsy Myers.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life at 4:45 p.m. Sunday at Church of the Good Shepherd, 326 New Bridge Road, Bergenfield. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Bergenfield or V.F.W. Post #6467 Ladies Auxiliary.
