DUMONT, N.J. – Margaret McCann, a resident of Toms River and formerly of Dumont, died Sunday, March 20. She was 84.
For 22 years, she worked at the Hishon Agency in Dumont and was a devoted parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church in Toms River.
She is survived by her husband, John; children, Maureen McCann of Pearl River, Cathleen (Phil) McCartin of Pearl River, Michael (Sharon) McCann of Chester Township and Patricia (Joseph) Mayer of Haworth; brother, Philip J. Clarke of Hollywood; grandchildren, Philip (Amy), Colleen, and Kevin McCartin, William and Matthew Mayer and MaryKathryn and Ryan McCann.
A funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Haworth. Private burial will take place at Beverly National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Center for Food Action, 192 W. Demarest Ave., Englewood, NJ 07631.
