DUMONT, N.J. — Lillian M. O'Leary, 73, formerly of Dumont, died Sept. 22.
She was born Sept. 2, 1943, in the Bronx.
She resided in Dumont, prior to moving to Sarasota, Fla. in 1999. She attended Aquinas High School in the Bronx and received undergraduate and graduate degrees from Fordham University. She was a teacher in the New York City Public Schools for 30 years, finishing her career at DeWitt Clinton High School in the Bronx.
She is survived by her husband, Cornelius J. O’Leary; two step-daughters, Joan Sartorio and her husband Tony and Jill Kiernan and her husband Dave; and six grandchildren, David and his wife Lauren, Joseph, Andrew, Timothy, William and Jennifer.
A funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8 at Sacred Heart Church in Haworth. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7 at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont.
