BERGENFIELD, N.J. — Steve Adams, a legendary Bergenfield track coach and teacher in the district, was found dead at his apartment on Sunday, NorthJersey.com reports.
The 65-year-old from Ramsey was an iconic shot put and discus thrower across New Jersey, and was elected to the St. Joseph Regional High School and University of Michigan halls of fame, the article says.
Adams' death did not appear suspicious and is being handled by medical examiners to determine the cause, NorthJersey.com says.
