DUMONT, N.J. -- Kenneth N. Boyd, 72, of Dumont, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Hackensack University Medical Center at Pascack Valley.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carol L. (nee Edge); daughter, Elisabeth Brenzel and her husband Robert; sons, Kenneth Jr. and his wife Janice and Stephen and his wife Lisa; grandchildren, Christopher, Stephen Jr., Sabrina, Tabitha, Marissa, Phoebe and Emily; and brothers, William and Robert Boyd.
Boyd was born in Yonkers, N.Y. to Catherine (nee Taylor) and Harold Boyd and was employed as an electrician for Local #3 IBEW in New York City.
He was very involved in town sports, a former president of the Little League and a member of the Dumont Rod & Gun Club.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton. Visiting hours will be from 3-7 p.m. Sunday at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont.
