Harry Jack Nishanian, 76, Dumont Resident

DUMONT, N.J. -- Dumont resident Harry Jack Nishanian died on Sunday, Feb. 14. He was 76.

Born in Paterson, Nishanian was a printer with Amalgamated Lithographers of America Local No. 1. He also started Multi Measures, a floor measuring business, with his childhood friend of 72 years, Frank Jodice.

Nishanian served in the Army National Guard. He was a fanatic about his lawn and garden, was a devoted New York Giants football fan, and loved to decorate for the holidays.

He is survived by his children, Kim Felton and her husband Harry, and Jeff Nishanian and his wife Gina; grandchildren Christina, Jeffrey, Damian, Devin, Nicole, Andrew and Hayley; and great-grandchildren James, Kaiden and Emma.

Nishanian was predeceased by his parents, Virginia (Iskrnderian) and Aram Nishanian.

Visiting hours will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, Feb. 19, followed by a graveside service at George Washington Memorial Park, in Paramus. Arrangements entrusted to the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont.
