BERGENFIELD, N.J. — Grace Johannesen, 98, of Bergenfield, died Oct. 20.
She was in 1918 born in Brooklyn.
She worked for Parents Magazine. She enjoyed golf, playing scrabble and traveling with her husband and many friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; son, Steven; three sisters, Helen, Ruth and Harriet.
She is survived by son, James; wife, Michele; and daughter-in-law, Kathleen; grandchildren, Kevin and Danielle Herr and Brian, Kim Joseph and Matt; and great-grandchildren, Samantha, Megan, Corinne, Shane, Alex and Ophelia.
Visiting is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Ave., Bergenfield. There will be a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
