Born in West New York, he is the son of the late Enola and Charles Fronjian. He was employed as an industrial machinist by PSE&G at the Hudson generating station in Jersey City for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Emira; his children, Robert Fronjian and Denise Nahass and her husband, Brian; his grandchildren, Carmella, Gabrielle and Isabelle; his siblings Leonard Caruso and his wife Shelly, Mary Ann and her husband Jim, Christine Ellis and her husband Avis; and many nieces, nephews, sisters, and brothers-in-law.
He was predeceased by his brother Richard A. Caruso; stepfather Richard J. Caruso and stepmother Mary Fronjian.
Visiting will be Sunday from 3-7 p.m. at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday at 9:30 a.m., at St. Therese of Lisieux R.C. Church, Cresskill. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery, Englewood.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frederick’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
