BERGENFIELD, N.J. – Emily Kania (nee Gerstenkorn) of Bergenfield and formerly of Teaneck died Thursday, Feb. 11. She was 90.
Kania worked for as an administrative assistant at the Bank of New York on Fifth Avenue in New York City.
She was predeceased by her husband, John; a daughter, Diane; a brother; Emil Gerstenkorn; and two sisters, Elsie and Margaret.
Kania is survived by two daughters, Celeste Muller and her husband Bill, and Yvonne Wolman and her husband Alec; and four grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday, Feb. 16. from 10 a.m.-noon at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, with a memorial service following.
Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
