"Christopher was an extremely happy boy, and while he was going through his treatments, he always remained positive and fearless," information from the funeral home noted. "He loved playing with his brothers, and his favorite toys, Lightening McQueen, Mario and Luigi from Disney's Cars, and Mickey Mouse."
He is survived by his parents, Sheila Vanessa Arriaga and Angel Lituma; brothers Alex and Carlos Armando Lituma; grandparents Carmen Resto and her husband Juan Fuentes, Cristino Arriaga, Teofilo Lituma and Belica Torres; great-grandmother Rosa Lopez; uncles Luis, Vicente and Tyrone Lituma, and Diego and Edwin Arriaga,; aunts Jenny Lituma, and Marisabel and Maria Arriaga; and many cousins.
Christopher was predeceased by his uncle, Carlos Lituma.
Visiting hours will be from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, at the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., in Garfield. The funeral is Thursday, arriving at the funeral home at 8:45 a.m., followed by a 9:30 a.m. mass at Most Holy Name Church, in Garfield. Interment will be at St. Peter's Greek Catholic Cemetery, also in Garfield.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting memorial gifts.
