BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Christine M. Homayounifar, of Bergenfield, died Nov. 2. She was 53.
She was born Feb. 17, 1963.
She was a strong advocate and volunteer for the MS Society. She worked tirelessly to address the needs of people with disabilities in the community as an officer of the Bergenfield Barrier Free Committee.
She is survived by her husband, Masoud; daughter, Tina; parents, Timothy and RoseMarie Downing; brothers, Tim, Mike and Dan.
Service will be held on Friday, Nov. 4, 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the National MS Society-NJ Metro Chapter, Aspen Corporate Park 1, 1480 U.S. Highway 9 North, Suite 301, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
