Dempsey is survived by her children, Irene Anderson, Kathleen and her husband Dominick Ragone, Michael and his wife Jessica; granddaughter Julie Ann; and great-grandchildren Bailey Ann and Nicholas.
She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur John, and her daughters, Margaret and Jeanne Dempsey.
A funeral mass was offered on Tuesday, Jan. 17, at St. Mary's, in Dumont, followed by burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, in Dumont, assisted with arrangements.
