NEW MILFORD, N.J. -- Barbara M. Matanin, a resident of New Milford, died Saturday, Feb. 27. She was 70.
She was a graduate of Berkeley College and was a Senior Clerk for the County of Bergen Administrative offices for 11 years, retiring in 1990. Previously she worked for Mathieson Chemical Company in East Rutherford. She was a former parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church in Wallington, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Wallington Fire Department Truck Company 1, and a member of the Wallington Chapter of the Deborah Hospital.
She is survived by her brother James Matanin and his wife Anne, of Wharton; along with many cousins.
She was predeceased by parents Joseph and Margaret Matanin.
