NEW MILFORD, N.J. -- Andrew "Andy" Stanley, 58, of New Milford, died Tuesday, Oct. 4.
He was born and raised in the Hell’s Kitchen section of New York City and later moved to New Jersey, settling in New Milford, where he and his wife lived the last 25 years.
Stanley worked as a doorman in New York City as a member of Local 32 B-J. He loved painting, fishing, and spending time with his many nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Frank and Mary Stanley. He also was predeceased by his brothers, Frank Stanley, Jr. and Michael Stanley.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (nee Albert); and sublings, Alberta Stanley, Elizabeth Albanese, Laura Cassone, Barbara Reich, Mary Stanley and Nikki Stanley.
