New Jersey drivers are finding prices at the tank as little as $1.49 per gallon for regular, says nj.com.

The decline follows a drop in wholesale costs last week, as refined gas inventories increased by more than 10 million barrels, according to nj.com.

Last year at this time, the average driver was paying $2.17 for a gallon of regular gas; on Friday, the state average was $1.83, according to AAA.
