DUMONT, N.J. — Elevated levels of lead and evidence of banned insecticides were discovered in soil samples taken from the site of D'Angelo Farms property in Dumont, the borough announced on a three-page summary on its website.
The sampling was ordered by State Superior Court Judge William Meehan to Landmark Dumont I Urban Renewal Corp., who is seeking to build 146 rental apartments on the property.
