NEW MILFORD, N.J. — It’s a done deal now: a 70,000-square-foot ShopRite will be built on the 14-acre Suez tract in New Milford.
Borough Council reached a settlement with New Milford Redevelopment Associates over the holidays to build the supermarket, a bank, a parking lot and a well-needed playing field, NorthJersey.com reports.
The site is at the intersection of River Road and Milford Avenue, adjacent to New Milford High School.
The next step is getting site plan approval from the New Milford Planning Board, the article says.
