DUMONT, N.J. — River Edge pastor Ralph Acerno will step out of the church and onto the stage for a charity concert April 8 in Dumont.
Acerno, Christian Community Church of River Edge pastor, will play guitar in the free show at Living Word Community Church in Dumont. Donations will be accepted and go toward Bergen County homeless shelters.
Acerno is no stranger to music as he taught guitar and has appeared on national TV, he said.
For the Dumont show, he'll play classic rock songs with backup musicians.
Acerno has been pastor at Christian Community Church in Dumont since 1992. He graduated from Northeastern Bible College.
He passed his ministerial ordination examinations from Princeton University in 1985 and has been involved in various ministries since 1973.
