DUMONT, N.J. -- Happy Birthday to Dumont’s Tim Jeffs!
The White Zombie guitarist turns 51 on Sept. 22.
Jeffs, who lives in Dumont with his wife, Jane, daughter, Jenna, and son, Harrison, has become an activist on behalf of endangered species. He debuted ink drawings of animals in August 2013 to international attention. He has joined with several conservation groups to promote animal protection.
Jeffs appeared on the White Zombie album "Pig Heaven" and boxed set "Let Sleeping Corpses Lie." He was the first guitarist to appear with White Zombie live at their CBGB debut in New York on April 28, 1986.
