Papa, who was raised in Dumont, turns 53 on Tuesday.
Papa, a sports broadcaster with the NFL Network and Golf Channel, was born Sept. 19, 1964.
A graduate of Bergen Catholic High School, Papa is best known as the radio voice of the New York Giants since the 1995 season.
The Fordham University alum also covers the Olympics for NBC, boxing for HBO and football for the NFL Network. It is Papa’s voice that can be heard as the official voice through Metlife Stadium for New York Jets and Giants games.
