Lissemore, who grew up in Dumont and played football at Dumont High School, turns 29 Sept. 11.
Today, Lissemore is a nose tackle for the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2010 NFL Draft and played college football at the College of William & Mary in Virginia.
While at Dumont, he was a four-year letterman and an all-league performer in track and field, according to Wikipedia. He competed in shot put and was also a three-year letter winner in wrestling.
Lissemore was a member of the high school’s Captains for Tomorrow’s Children and played saxophone in its jazz band.
