Members of Calvary United Methodist Church are organizing their second annual trip to distribute goodie bags to employees at local gas stations.

Last year they handed out about 12 gifts and hope to do so again.

"Our message as we handed them a bag was, 'Merry Christmas, God loves you,' and it was so much fun," organizers stated on the church's website.

The church group still needs donations and volunteers to help deliver the bags around 10 p.m. on Dec. 24.

Goodie bag items include hand lotion, gum, nuts, chap stick, lozenges, dried fruit, hand or feet warmers, and granola bars.

Donations can be dropped off at the church, located at 185 West Madison Ave., in Dumont.
